One of the methods of reducing water loss and leakage in a city's water distribution network is to divide the network into regional district metered areas (DMA) with the logic of "divide and conquer" and to monitor the network flow and pressure in these regions online. Hydraulic modeling and the structure of the network are taken into account in determining the DMA boundaries. While monitoring the isolated areas with zero pressure test, battery-powered data loggers that collect the measured data and send it once a day can be used, as well as control systems that send instant data online. In particular, considering the flow and pressure measurements made between 02:00 and 04:00, the unavoidable minimum night flow (MNF) of the relevant region is calculated. By comparing the unavoidable MNF flow rate and the actual flow rate, the infrastructure leakage index (ILI) is calculated together with other parameters. According to the ILI index visualized on the map, the regions are ranked from the worst to the best, and regions with significantly higher losses and thefts are determined, and the loss and theft are detected by performing night listening in these regions. If the DMA approach is not applied, it is practically not possible to search for all the missing-leakage in the city street by street.
-By using our AQUA CNT 100F device, you can easily monitor your regional measurement areas.
-With its built-in ultrasonic flowmeter, it provides flow measurement without cutting the mains pipe by means of clamp-on probes with 1% sensitivity.
-Electromagnetic flowmeter and pressure sensor can also be connected externally.
-With its embedded GSM/GRPS module, it can transmit data instantly to all SCADA systems over Modbus TCP protocol.
-It can be operated with 24V DC energy and you can easily use it with 50W solar panel without the need for an external regulator.
-It can communicate up to 2 days with its 12Ah lithium battery in case of power cuts.
-Provides IP68 flowmeter probe and IP68 pressure sensor support for manholeless (buried in the ground) DMA applications.
